Land Clearing
All aspects of the site clearing process including tree removal, stump removal, selective clearing or tree trimming, grubbing, root raking and rough grading needed to efficiently clear vegetation to make a project site ready. We will clear the way for your homesite, driveway, roadway, or other development project.
Logging
Harvest timber, process on-site, cut to length and transport timber to local woodyards and mills where it is used in everyday products. All vegetative debris such as limbs, stumps, and brush are chipped or mulched to be used as soil improvement
Demolition
Structural Demolition to remove residential buildings of all sizes, concrete demolition to break up foundations, slabs, pavement or sidewalks that need to be removed from a project area, and other site preparation demolition to remove debris from a project area.

Where Forestry Meets Clearing
SK Logging LLC was created to ensure a sustainable method of timber harvesting would be applied to any land clearing projects of SK Development Inc. Our goal is to reuse and recycle all wood products possible according to the North Carolina Forestry Association and North Carolina Forest Service guidelines. Our skilled crewmembers are ProLogger Certified Loggers, a program administered by the North Carolina Forestry Association (NCFA). This program started in 1994 in a cooperative effort from the NCFA, NC Department of Labor, NC State Highway Patrol and the NC Forest Service. Skilled and knowledgeable in the Forestry Best Management Practices our team is certified in the following:
- Timber Harvesting: Forest Thinning or Traditional Logging also known as “Clear Cutting” removes all timber from a specific area
- Brush Removal: Help eliminate the threat of wildfires
- Chipping & Mulching
- Forest Roads and Trails
- Stream Crossings and Wetlands: All harvesting operations are conducted under strict guidelines and regulations designed to protect the environment
